Jack Gencher has always held a passion for the estate jewellery business. He descends from great grandparents who entered the jewellery business in Paris around 1910 and flourished as estate and natural pearl dealers selling to Cartier, Harry Winston and the like. His family established the Royal Gold and Currency Exchange in Martin Place, Sydney, in 1927.
In London, Jack spent 2019 and 2020 working in the estate jewellery business, with his cousin in The Piccadilly Vaults in The Royal Arcade just off Piccadilly.
Jack returned to Australia and now works for Bunda Fine Jewels in Sydney’s Strand Arcade. Jack also has his own business in which he concentrates on importing and sourcing international fine art, objects d’art and estate jewellery.
Jack Is David Norman of Matahina Pearls‘ second cousin and brings his wealth of knowledge to TVSN. Under the brand name Piccadilly Estate Jewellery he brings TVSN magnificent estate jewellery pieces.
