Elizabeth Grant is the founder and face of Elizabeth Grant Skin Care. She established the company in 1948 at a time when it was unusual for women to own or run a business.
In 1945, Elizabeth – a makeup artist in London who worked on some of the most famous faces of the time including Vivien Leigh, Sean Connery, and Noel Coward, suffered severe damage to her face from a bomb blast in London which shattered her self-confidence.
After trying everything in the hope of restoring her skin, she found a natural substance used to treat war wounds, Torricelumn™. She commissioned a unique serum including the miracle ingredient and applied it to her damaged skin.
After just a few months, Elizabeth’s skin improved remarkably. She stopped hiding from the world and started living again.
Elizabeth knew she was onto something when her clients started complimenting her skin and made it her mission: to share something revolutionary with the world.
In 1948, Elizabeth launched Elizabeth Grant Skin Care.
