Exclusively mined in the arid Merelani foothills, Tanzanites a variety of the mineral Zoisite. While Tanzanites best velvety-blues can rival fine Sapphires, most of the time, its a gorgeous combination of blues, purples and violets. Colour and size are closely linked in Tanzanite, with its medium or greater saturations and tones, scarcer and more valuable. The ring sits approx. 8.5mm above the finger and measures approx. 16.5mm down the finger.
